Black-Headed Cat

Black-headed cat snake is a species of colubrid snake Thailand. May attain a total length of 1.7 meters. The habitat is forest. During the day they hide in hollow logs or under ledges closer to the ground. It gets its name from the blackish coloration of its head. Has large green eyes with vertical pupils. The color of the body is the brown-red and light pink belly, the body is oval. It is arboreal but frequently comes down to the ground in search of prey. Feeds on lizards, frogs, birds, small mammals and other snakes. The bite is relatively harmless and can cause minor pain.
